Refugio Amazonas Lodge

Refugio Amazonas Lodge offers eco-friendly accommodation in the Tambopata National Reserve. The property features a restaurant, and some rooms include WiFi access. Honestly, we loved every bit of our stay: the activities (Macaw clay lick, night walks, and Don Manuel’s farm were our favorites), the lodge (also loved our room: already missing those quiet afternoons in the hammock), the guides (shout out to Matteo!!), the food ...

Tambopata Hostel

Puerto Maldonado

Tambopata Hostel in Puerto Maldonado provides adults-only accommodation with a bar, a shared lounge and a garden. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The dorms and Bathrooms and all the shared rooms were very clean and the beds provided with moscito nets. The rooms were quite big and flooded with daylight and they have an absolutly gorgeous floor on the roof with hammocks and a billard table, not to mention the nice Pool and all the lovely paintings every where. All the staff is also very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there!

Posada Amazonas Lodge

Puerto Maldonado

Featuring a restaurant, Posada Amazonas Lodge is located in Puerto Maldonado. Free WiFi access is available in the superior rooms. I did Refugio Amazonas (1 night), Tambopata Research Center (2 nights) and Posada (1 night) - they all belong to Rainforest Expeditions. They are eco-friendly and offer truly authentic experiences. The guides all know English and biology to explain the wild life around you. I loved it and highly recommend it. It's good to do 3 because they each have different wild life / lakes / things you can see. If you're strapped for time TRC is the best - its the deepest and furthest so you see more.
