Check-in and check-out were both very smooth; I was contacted on the day of my arrival to clarify details; then, a key was left for me in the key box with a detailed instruction which was also sent by mail. Worked just as smooth as with a 24h reception. Price is great and location might be very good - depending where one has to go on a daily basis. Tram and bus station are less than 5 mins walk away, local rent-a-bike station (VRN nextBike) is also about 5 mins away.
