I was staying during new year's because I was escaping the warzone that was Groningen 😂 Ms. Maria was really friendly and sweet, she made sure I was very well taken care of. It was a quiet time in the property but she was always up for a conversation. Despite the fireworks, I can actually sleep comfortably and the hallway was noise-insulated as well. The room was humble, but comfy, I could chat with other guests in the common room. The whole house has a "gezellig" vibe, and well decorated. Breakfast was in an enough portion in the dining room with a fireplace, I was eating with the other 4 guests. There were farms outside and nature neighbourhood. It was just the perfect experience for a relaxing holiday I was looking for. Would definitely recommend.

The host even called in advance to make sure everything would work out smoothly. The apartment is new and modern with a large roof window and lovely decoration details. The bathroom was big and very clean, just as the rest of the apartment. Bedsheets and towels were included. The lake, restaurants and a supermarket are only a few minutes away by car. A great location to visit Groningen. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

It's a quiet hotel near a lake. the beds are very comfortable and the rooms have perfect sound insulation. Breakfast was perfect as well. Good choice of hot and cold dishes like fresh fruit, breakfast cereals, milk, yogurt, bread, boiled and scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, home made banana bread and bread pudding.
