I loved the lodges - cute wood cabins, and the restaurant served great food (with lots of vegetarian option, which was great for me). I think it’s great that they protect the surrounding forest - I believe they’re in charge of protecting 5000hectares of forest. The excursions (the tours in the forest / on the neighboring island / on the river at night) were truly amazing. Our guide Ever is greatly knowledgeable, he gave us lots of explanation about the animals, the trees, insects, plants, and their interactions which was super interesting. I was blown away by the beauty of the forest, and its richness in terms of animals. My highlight is probably when we got in the middle of a big feast for cappuccino monkeys and squirrel monkeys - they were everywhere and so cute.

The hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from Padre Aldamiz International Airport. Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is accessed via a 10-minute ride from the airport then a 25-minute boat ride from Puerto Maldonado port. An incredible eco-lodge in the middle of the jungle. The lodge was lovely and the excursions were great. the staff were very attentive. All meals are provided and they have a great selection at each meal. we particularly enjoyed the granola at breakfast!

Canoe trips can be booked and all rooms feature views of the river. There is free WiFi in public areas. Shuttles from the airport to the lodge are free of charge. Prompt service. The bungalows at Tambopata River feature twin beds and a hammock. They are surrounded by a pure, green environment and have panoramic river views. There is electricity 24/7 and cellphone signal. The location is beautiful, by the river. Free pick up from the bus station, we arrived at 8am and waited for our room and breakfast for no extra charge. Perfect behavior, friendly and helpful. It's good to do 3 because they each have different wild life / lakes / things you can see. If you're strapped for time TRC is the best - its the deepest and furthest so you see more.
