Hotel Le Mas Trilles is located at the foothills of the Pyrénées Mountains, 2 km from the town of Ceret. It features a heated outdoor swimming pool. We loved it all; seriously, this is a wonderful place. The young owners are fantastic and a special couple We were driving from France on our way to Barcelona. This was the perfect place to stop--just five minutes from the main highway. Ceret is a charming town. We want to return.

Located in the centre of Céret, Hotel des Arcades is 87 metres from the Modern Art Museum. It offers rooms serviced by a lift, free Wi-Fi access and a shaded terrace. The location of the hotel was great. We had the Saturday market right in front of the hotel. We had a room which was away from the street so it was very quiet. They had a very nice outside balcony where we could sit and have a drink or even breakfast there. There were two choices for breakfast; a continential breakfast for 7.50 euros or a full breakfast for 10 euros. Since we'd been eating buffet breakfasts in the past days we chose the continental breakfast hoping for fewer calories. It was certainly adequate for us. We had pitchers of coffee and hot milk for our cafe au lait, a choice of either apple or orange juice, and croissants and bread. There was also a basket of a fresh fruit if we needed more. One of the mornings we were all given bowls of Ceret's cherries. Delicious!

Located in the heart of Céret, Hotel Vidal is set in an 18th-Century with a décor inspired by many artists. Perpignan is only a 30-minute drive away and the Argeles Beaches are 20 km from the hotel. Great place to stay. The room had plenty of room and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was also neat to see the history behind the hotel.

Paul, the owner, was very friendly and kind. He made us feel like at home. It is located in the old town, so just leaving the hotel we could visit the pretty town streets. The morning we woke up, on Saturday morning, we had a nice market just in front of the hotel.

We visited Céret on bikes, and Vanessa was a brilliant host. Breakfast was fresh, and she helped us plan our route the following day. Easy walking access to the town centre, would stay again, no problem.
