This family-run hotel is located in the heart of the medieval town Mirepoix, in Cathar country. It offers affordable rooms with free Wi-Fi internet access. The property is a quintessential family-run French hotel located in the center of Mirepoix next to the Mirepoix Monday market and the church. It is dated but that is part of the charm. Breakfast is simple but adequatehowever the hotel restaurant served an exquisite dinner and the patio we dined in was delightful. The servers were efficient, friendly and accommodating. No doubt in my mind we selected a great place to stay to relish in French culture. It was easy to get to Carcassonne for an afternoon allowing us to return for dinner!

Beautifully designed and decorated - very stylish Spacious and with every amenity you could want including a kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher, walking machine… Perfect location in the street where the bakery and pharmacy etc are located ( by the way the bakery does the best fresh bread, croissants and cakes) Stunning large balcony/ outdoor space Emmanuelle - the host could not have been more charming and helpful. Restaurant at the back really good too

Attention to detail, cleaniless, excellent location, fresh food provided by the owners including home made pate, confiture, eggs, fruit. There was a real sense of home from home. When my brother enquired about taxi arrangements from Toulouse to Mirepoix, the owner offered to collect him himself at half the normal rate. He also arranged to drive him back to Toulouse at the end of our stay.
