Peebles Hydro offers a beautiful setting in gardens, in the border town of Peebles. This charming, historic hotel features an indoor swimming pool, a spa, a gym and restaurant. I've been visiting this hotel for decades and was rather fond of this grand old lady but four years ago I had horrendous food poisoning and vowed never to go again. But after a wonderful swim lunch with great food last weekend we immediately booked a night's break for two and it was beyond exceptional. The refurb is superb and we had an excellent spacious and beautifully decorated room with a luxurious bathroom with a view to die for! The food is almost haute cuisine and beyond our expectations - just need a little more yogurt for breakfast as the healthy options were in high demand. We'll be back for sure!

Set by the River Tweed, in a quiet countryside location, the 4-star Macdonald Cardrona Hotel, Golf & Spa boasts views of the Border Hills, an 18-hole golf course, an award-winning restaurant and a... I liked the hotel the moment I set foot in it......looked very warm and friendly . My room had a patio right on the gold course, beautiful scenery. Food at the bar was very good , hearty breakfast, and very friendly staff, all at your beck and call. A big well done. If ever I happen to visit Edinburgh again, I will definetely stay at this hotel.

Staff were all welcoming & friendly , fist class service bar & breakfast & I speak for my 2 colleagues who I had also booked rooms for , we were all impressed with the large filling breakfast to set us on our Way, long motorbike journey Much appreciated

Located in the centre of Peebles, in the Scottish Borders, The Park offers a bar/restaurant and a garden. Free WiFi is available in public areas, and free private parking is possible onsite. The repurposed furniture , fabric and equipment from the local fabric mill that burned down. It makes it a cozy, quirky character hotel. The staff Darren and the bar and James at breakfast were fantastic. I don’t know the staff members name but he showed me the door from the mill that held up during the fire. At the reception-it’s the coffee shop with the best pastries!

Set in 25 acres of mature grounds, the Barony Castle Hotel is an impressive castle has a stylish award winning restaurant and modern leisure centre. The food was nice. The walks round about were stunning. Spa was very nice.
