We got a Japanese style room, which is what we were hoping for. The ocean view was really nice. We ate at the Japanese restaurant and they were very accommodating. I had a crab shabu course and they prepared a couple vegetarian dishes for my husband. Dinner was a bit pricey but very tasty and looked amazing. Our waitress prepared everything and chatted with us for a bit, then gave us time to just enjoy things ourselves.
The staff were very friendly; service was top-notch, as is often the case in Japan.
It's located in between two stations, so it's easy to get to. When we checked out, they called a taxi for us so we could go directly to Kamakura station, which ended up costing about 1500 yen.

The facility was beautiful, clean, and at a great location near the beach. The one staff there was incredibly at hospitality. It was even raining on the day I was checking out and he gave me an umbrella to take at no extra charge. He did my laundry at no extra charge! The rooms were nice with only 4 people, and during my stay only one other person was in the room. The workout room and the meditation, yoga room are a great addition. This is not a party hostel and it is very quite and peaceful. The design of the rocks and garden on the way in should convey that a little. If you'd like a peaceful place to relax for a day or two then this is a good spot.

This was a real find. Couldn’t have been better.
It’s like having your own room above a beachside cafe. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The front porch was a great place to sit at any time of day to look over the beach with a nice breeze. You can also see a special sunset with Mount Fuji in the distance. The Japanese breakfast was very nice. The futon beds were comfortable and the air con was really silent. There is free self-serve laundry available.
This spacious apartment is in a great location next to Kamakura station, handy to all attractions and restaurants, and is very quiet and peaceful. It was extremely well equipped and clean. Its interior is traditional Japanese style, and has all modern fittings, air conditioning and easy access by lift. I highly recommend this apartment!
The landlady is an English native speaker which was great. The location is great, a few steps from the beach and maybe 1min from Hase train station which is the access to the Great Buddha and Hasedera shrine. Breakfast is good, the rooms are simple Japanese style. You can have a Japanese bath as the Japanese do which is great.
Very clean hostel and great location in Kamakura. This hostel is popular with Japanese guests and families so is perfect if you want somewhere that's quiet. I was surprised they had a public bath (onsen) with lots of hairdryer facilities. Very large suitcases won't fit inside the room lockers.
The owner is friendly and gave me very useful route for sight seeing here. And also he can speak in English very well. No worry about communication. The house is decorated in Japanese traditional style. Clean and quite. It will be a good choice to stay when stopping by Kamakura.

Dinner and breakfast were amazing! Best meals of my trip in Japan. Modern ryokan but my room was clean and quite big.
Enoshima is a perfect coastal city, surf and onsen by foot, and the tramway to kamakura main sights is in front of the hotel too.
Staff, location and the view of Edoshima and Fuji mountain from the room are great. All of the services are great. Hope to come Kamakura again and stay Prince hotel again. Thanks a lot to you!
We slept well. The house is pretty, though a but run down. The squat toilet seen in the booking.com images has been upgraded with a seat, but it's still not a modern japanese toilet.
Quiet neighborhood àrea. Safe for a female solo traveler. The room is big enough for one person stay. Bed is super comfy. About 10 minutes walk to Kamakura station and the oceanfront.
Super friendly staff, the ryokan is a 5 minute walk from the station and from the sea located, very stylish and cozy. Bring earplugs if you have sleeping issues.
