Large room with double bed for the standard in Japan. With Genius price and the day we went, we paid only 6,300 JPY which is a great value for the room. Usually in Japan in the price range 6,000 JPY we got only a tiny room (8-10m2) with a semi-double bed at most. However I have seen that 1 day earlier, the price would have been 20,000 JPY which will be not worth it at all. Good location in Motomachi at the entrance of Chinatown. Can reach by walk (within 20-30 min) many places: sannomiya, port, ...

Booked the King room with a Harbour and Sea view and it did not disappoint. Very spacious room, very well furnished and the view to the Bay area was absolutely fantastic. Breakfast spread quite big, comparable to 4 star hotels around the world, with both Japanese and European options. Hotel also has daily free shuttles every 30 mins to Kobe Sanomiya station which is super convenient. All in all great facilities and a good deal in Japan for anyone visiting Kobe!

Property was great value for money. Room was small but this is common in Japan. Bed was a large king and everything was very clean. The hotel is around a 7 minute walk to local train station and then it’s about £1.50 for a ticket into centre of Kobe. Train ride takes 10 minutes. Really enjoyed the commute into the centre so this was not an issue for us. We were over for the rugby and hotel was perfect for us. Would recommend.

The terrace is amazing. The common room is so japanese and comfy, perfect for a shared meal with the housemates!! You can play the guitar.... There are three types of Playstation.. The air con (that if you travel during summertime will be really helpful)... And litterally, down the stairs there's a convenient store if you need anything 24h. Plus!! Few steps away from Kobe arcade, where you can find cheap and cool food.

Traditional Japanese style room was very spacious and had beautiful views of maple trees from windows. The staff members were were very helpful. Our package included breakfast only and the hotel organized transfers to/from the town centre when we went out for the dinner. We enjoyed morning walk around the garden in the property. They have accommodated my dietary requirements and we have had a wonderful stay.

Delicious breakfast buffet style and Onsen (outdoor). It was public but almost 24 hours so depending on your schedule you can choose the most comfortable time to have bath and Onsen. The staffs were kind and professional. Room was clean and was matched with the picture. I am satisfied with the reservation at Candeo Hotel Kobe Tor Road. It is close to Sannomiya and Motomachi. And it was safe to walk around.

Great location for the hotel. The room size is considerably not too bad for Japanese standard. It’s clean and tidy. For breakfast you could order 1 out of 4 choice. It was tasty. We also had a car so we reserved a space up front on site. The extra cost is 1500 yen a night during the stay (from check in time to check out at 1000). We had to leave the car till 1400 so we paid extra 300 yen for 4 hours.

Incredible buffet breakfast, with so many choices! it would be nice to have the items labelled in English as well as Japanese, since we did not recognize many of them. Baths on first floor (open to public) were charming; baths on top floor had a great view. Room was lovely and our balcony overlooked the harbor.

Twin room was a good size for Japan, great shower with full size bath. Breakfast was very good and lots of choice. Free tea, coffee and lots of soft drinks. Location although slight away from the centre was right at the subway and overland stations so easy to get everywhere you wanted to in Kobe.

If you want to stay in center with cheap price, I highly recommend you of this guesthouse. The greatest of this stay was its bed condition. Thick n clean mattress, and perfectly compartment!(I’m not sure if you are tall as I’m completely average Japanese size.. :s)

Great hotel, very convenient - right by Sannomiya bus and train stations. Was worried about noise from trains but no need to be. We had 2 excellent nights stay with a good Japanese breakfast. Staff are friendly and very helpful. All in all a most comfortable stay.

Very near the sannomiya station connecting almost all the major railway lines…restaurants and other amenities just a few step near and one of the oldest temples in japan is just opposite the hotel…rooms are quiet big and clean and comfortable

Had a great stay! Room was bigger than expected (compared to Japanese hotels) and very comfortable. The complimentary bathing salt for the tub was a nice treat! Excellent breakfast. Would stay again.

The room size is big when compare with the other hotel in Japan. Quiet environment and nearby convenience store. Polite staffs.

The rooms were kept very clean. They have an eco-friendly policy and you do not have to change your sheets everyday. They provide charging cords which was great for me because I forgot to bring my charger. The staff are very kind an polite. For the price of the rooms, I was very surprised to get a buffet breakfast.

The view from the hotel is fantastic. Although it has a bit of a distance from the city center, but the free shuttle bus is very convenient. We were welcomed as we walk in and they are very helpful with the luggage. Both check in and check out process was smooth and easy. We didn't spent much time there but what we experienced was flawless. The most outstanding point was the price we got, it was much cheaper than a lot of other places that are not as high standard as this one.

It was close to what I wanted to see and the local food was great! It was all I needed in a room a bed and a bathroom worked well for me.

Staff was amazing and attentive from entering the hotel premises. The rooms are very clean with a beautiful view of the harbour, the bathtub was huge! Loved that there were real beds and also futons if we wanted to have it made, great to have both options. The restaurant inside the hotel was amazing for dinner, we had tenpenyakki and set menu the best wagyu beef yum! Even though we stayed during COVID19, some of the facilities were closed but we still enjoyed our stay.

Excellent choice of breakfast. Loved the location, right opposite the Monorail onto the island. Lovely walk in the "Park area" under the Monorail. Great Art exhibition next to hotel
