This 4-star hotel is located in the historical centre of Leeuwarden, one of the Cultural Capitals of Europe 2018, directly opposite the train station. The whole experience was wonderful friendly people, everything worked, lovely room, all great!

The 4-star Hotel- Paleis Stadhouderlijk Hof situated in the capital of Friesland epitomizes the region’s historic grandeur. Guests benefit from free Wi-Fi during their stay. Beautiful location made me feel like royalty. No wonder this hotel used to be a palace. My accommodation consisted of a large bedroom, a large sitting room and a large bathroom. The staff printed out the history (1567 on). The public rooms had many period paintings. The garden behind the hotel was lovely. All together a real find. I stayed an extra night needless to say I’ll be back!

Eurohotel is situated only a 5-minute walk from Leeuwarden's WTC Expo and features free Wi-Fi. It has a restaurant which serves Frisian specialities, seasonal dishes and a Bourgondian buffet. Although the hotel seems a bit old, the room was well decorated, nothing was broken or worn out. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, breakfast is nice and diner was fine too. The location is fine as well, free parking and you walk to the city center in about 20 minutes. Wifi was stable as well.

Bastion Hotel Leeuwarden is situated along the A32, near the Congress Centre FEC, as well as the centre of Leeuwarden with its great theatre, cinemas, film house, bars and restaurants. Bed was amazing, room was nice!
