Amazing place, wonderful nature and you (if you decided to stay here) you are part of nature. We stayed here for 3 nights. First of all i want to thanks our guide Orlando. Every day and every evening we were together: he said about life of Amazonian people, we visited local village Amazonia to see how people live, we visited local market and bought big fishes and chef of lodge cooked her for us. Fishing of piranhas, canopy tour in jungle rain forest, visit to Monkey island, shamans experience... We did not miss no one minute! Thanks to Orlando for this beautiful Amazonia trip.

Nice accomodation, basic but sufficient. Food was excellent, some of the best food on our trip. Great guide in Anjilla! (Edwin). We throughly enjoyed our time however could have been better.

The Jacamar Lodge Expeditions is located on the banks of the Amazon River, in the middle of the jungle and 120 km from downtown Iquitos. My husband and I had an amazing time at Jacamar Lodge! The food and hospitality we recieved was absolutely fantastic ! We spend three days at the lodge and did two full day tours into the Amazon. Miguel was our tour guide and made sure that we experienced the Amazon in full. We saw sloths, tucans, parrots, tarantula, piranhas, monkeys and pink dolphins. I recommend Jacamar Lodge and would definitely stay there again on a return trip.
