Located only 3.5 hours from Puerto Maldonado city. (One hour by bus and 2.5 hrs by boat) This lodge is the only one inside the National Reserve of Tambopata. Free WiFi is featured. The location is incredible, the guides are very experienced and we learned a lot. We spent 4 nights and we saw a lot of different plants and animals. I would recommend at least 3 nights to enjoy the place. 4 nights were great
Situated in Tambopata, Tres Chimbadas Lake Lodge features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a restaurant, a bar and a garden. Everything excellent. Food was superb home cooked Peruvian and we had an amazing tour guide. Bungalows private and modern and comfortable.
Located in the heart of the Amazonas jungle, Monte Amazonico Lodge offers rural accommodation in Puerto Maldonado. A jungle tour and all meals are provided. The Monkey Island is 500 metres away. I had the best time traveling to the Amazon and would 10/10 recommend Monte Amazonica to friends! Great location far enough away from town with beautiful property, gardens and relaxing areas. I especially loved the hammocks and pool. Food was yummy and filling. Plus there is a bar :) Cabins were very clean and comfortable. Bring an extra battery pack to charge electronics as electricity is only available for 4 hours. Also bring a refillable water bottle and plenty of warm weather, light weight clothes. I was a solo traveler on this journey and made tons of friends in my group. And huge bonus that our tour guide Daniel is the coolest! He is very knowledgeable and shared great stories. If you want an opportunity to live in the jungle for a few days, see lots of animals and unwind and disconnect this is your place. I’ll definitely be back to visit!! Thanks for an incredible trip!
Refugio Amazonas Lodge offers eco-friendly accommodation in the Tambopata National Reserve. The property features a restaurant, and some rooms include WiFi access. We loved our stay. We loved the lodge, the guides (Daniel and Manuel) and lodge staff (Tania) were all amazing, the activities all blew our minds, the food was tasty, and we met a lot of other nice guests. We travel a lot, but this experience might be our most favorite thing we’ve ever done. We enjoyed it so much and hope we can come back soon!
Situated in Puerto Maldonado, La Habana Conservation Area offers accommodation with a balcony. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Excellent food and service. The staff was wonderful and our bungalow was beautiful. The grounds were perfect.
Located a 15-minute drive from the bus terminal, Passiflora Camp offers accommodations in Puerto Maldonado. A complimentary Continental breakfast is served daily. We had a wonderful stay at passiflora camp. From the arrival on, Eduardo was there to help us with tours, humorous talks, good informations and advice. We enjoyed our time so much that we almost didn’t want to leave. We will never forget these beautiful surroundings, the delicious meals and the cozy nights with caipirinha. Thank you both a lot for having made the jungle stay perfect to us. You’ve created something really special outside Puerto Maldonado. Saludos a Samy, Gringaco y Negra. Abrazos Hanna y Thomas
Featuring splendid river and jungle views, the property is located 10 metres from Tambopata River. The tour desk organizes activities such as fishing, canoeing, hiking, and cycling. Everything about our stay was perfect, we felt like royalty. We were on a fleeting visit to the jungle (4 girls travelling) so only had 1 night and two days. I messaged Roland through Booking.com and he made sure that we fitted in as much as possible booking us two excursions and offering to take us out on a cayman watching trip in the evening. The lodge bus took us to and from the bus station (we came from Cusco) and made sure we got to and from our excursions at no extra cost. We also paid the extra to eat at the lodge so had a three course meal both evenings which was amazing. Roland even let us keep our room until 6pm because we had a late bus. Don’t waste money booking an organised tour through someone else!!! Felt like an authentic jungle experience.
