Ideally located in Cologne, Motel One Köln-Neumarkt offers air-conditioned rooms, a bar, free WiFi and a shared lounge. It is very good located. By foot one can reach museums, the Dom, and many good restaurants . The parking next to/down the hotel offers one of the best tariffs in the area. The bed was actually double and very comfy. Everything was clean. The breakfast area is quite big, so even when it was quite full, we could find a place to sit.

A 5-minute walk from Cologne Cathedral and a 9-minute walk from Cologne Central Station, this hotel lies on a side street in the Old Town. It has air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. Hotel location is ideal, close or within walking distance to everything. Very close to the Christmas market in Heumarkt. Our room was ready on our arrival, even if it was earlier than the normal check-in window. Super speedy check-in process. The space in the room was very well thought, room was very clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable providing a good night sleep, excellent noise insulation. Breakfast was remarkable, with carefully chosen healthy food, locally/regionally sourced ingredients, organic where possible and with small-sized portions in order to avoid waste. Scrambled eggs cooked to order - outstanding, the lard with crispy onion - a dream, the overnight oats with mango - yummy. Some of the little touches that make the difference: the occasional little chocolate treat, the champagne glasses provided on New Year's Eve, umbrellas for the guests, honesty bar, color coded towels so you don't mistake them, multiple outlet standards, the ingenious way of communicating with the cleaning staff, the cultural diversity of the Christmas tree and even the quality of the toilet paper. Friendly staff and owners that really made us feel not just welcomed, but at home. We've had an awesome stay and we can honestly say the hotel deserves all the high ratings and reviews. There are some kiosks for the essentials nearby, but you will have to walk around 20 minutes to the closest supermarket.

Located in a quiet but central part of Cologne, Hotel Casa Colonia offers comfortable accommodation just 300 metres from Cologne Main Train Station. The location is great. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is very tasty.

I'd give this place more than 10 if I could. Definitely one of the best places I've stayed in. It was clean, hotel room felt homely, facilities are clean, great breakfast, great location, and you can spend hours at the lobby.

Located in Cologne, less than 1 km from Cologne Cathedral, Maternushaus provides accommodation with a restaurant, private parking, a garden and a terrace. The room was big and spacious with a lovely view (I was on the top floor). Everything was very clean. Breakfast was good and varied, with delicious choice of hams. The staff was helpful and 24/7 at the reception desk. There are multiple seating areas within the hotel. A particularly cozy one was a ca. 10-people corner with a fireplace. There is also a patio where you can enjoy your coffee. Location is very central, just 10min, 2-street, leisure walk from Hauptbahnhof and the Cathedral. On your way you can see the towers of the Cathedral most of the time so it is very easy to navigate. There is also a church 5min in the opposite direction - St. Gereon - that is often omitted because it does not compare to the Cathedral but I would recommend visiting because it gives a very unusual impression of a cave.

Set within 300 metres of Cologne Cathedral and 500 metres of Ludwig Museum, Hotel Sandmanns am Dom features rooms in Cologne. Rooms are themed on dessert , location is absolutely fantastic. They helped with storing my luggage for 8 hours.
