The room was large and nicely appointed - a small sitting area, a small table and chairs where we had our meals (which were delivered to our room), a very comfortable bed (and comfy pillows, which is a first for our travels in Europe!) and a large shower and separate toilet. We booked the suite and it had a large sliding glass door that opened onto a small deck (it was too cold so we didn't sit outside). The grounds were lovely, even in winter. There was a path that led from the property and went around the lake, and there were secluded areas on the property where you could sit and take a meal or just relax. The host and her family were very friendly and our dinner and breakfast were wonderful! She didn't speak English and I only speak a little French but we figured everything out just fine!
