Very attentive and friendly he made us feel like we were at home. The place is quiet, has an amazing view, outside during the night it was gorgeous to watch the stars. Very romantic and comfortable. Great value and location, friendly staff. and English speaking owner (used to live in New Jersey) . EXCEPTIONAL views from top 2 floors. The only gripes from other reviewers (all in Portuguese) are the steep walk back up the hill if you go shopping or to the restaurants. But the Yin to that Yang is the AWESOME views. Better with a car or take a taxi back up the hill afterwards. NOT a long walk at all down the hill but quite steep going back up.

Regina is an amazing and really interesting person. She made some really useful thing, that will make your stay much much easier. For example a little bell on thr Veranda to call her or a collection of guide book about brasil and the national parks. We hat really really lovely conversation. The room is really clean an cosy, with mosquitoes nets at the windows and a own bathroom. This woman it engaging in the local society and knows a lot. Best place to stay, to feel home and included!
