Fabrizzios Terrace Hostel

Eixample, Barcelona

Each dormitory includes bunk beds, personal lockers and a seating area with a desk. All rooms have access to a shared bathroom with shower and toilets.

The hostel offers free luggage storage and laundry service. There is a shared kitchen and a common lounge with a TV and sofas. Everything was really great. There are father and son waiting in the reception, they are great. They supply anything you need. Especially, when I arrived at late night, first they asked me am I hungry or not, before chech-in. I totally recommend to everyone. If I come to barcelona again, I will stay there.

Eixample, Barcelona

Set in a 19th-century building, Rodamón Barcelona Centre offers simple, modern décor and includes a communal lounge area and kitchen. Rooms and dorms have free Wi-Fi, bunk beds, heating and either a private or shared bathroom. I loved the distribution of every space within the hostel. The rooms were really spacious, ventilated and every single place was incredibly clean! (This is really hard to get in most of the hostels!) The hosts were really nice and eager to help 24/7! I totally recommend coming!

Hostels. What are they?

Way more than just a cheap place to sleep, hostels are a social way to travel and meet like-minded people. Common areas like shared kitchens or games rooms are great ways to swap tips, tricks and travel stories with backpackers from all over the world.

Hostels have come a long, long way since the first youth hostel opened in 1912. From budget 'crash-pads' to five-star 'poshtels', today, hostels are for everybody, so whether you'd prefer a bed in a shared dorm or your own private room, you'll find most hostels are cheaper than a local hotel and far more fun.
