The comfortable rooms at Hostel Kokopelli Cusco include free linen. Some rooms have private bathrooms, and garden views. The best free breakfast gif any hostel or hotel I have stayed in. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. It’s not just a place to stay. It is a community. I actually cancelled a different hostel to stay here...and I paid for the night at the other hostel even though I did not sleep their. Great vibe.

Casa hospedaje k`intu

Cusco City Centre, Cusco

Boasting a garden and a terrace, Casa hospedaje k`intu is situated in Cusco, 200 metres from Santo Domingo Church and 200 metres from Santa Catalina Convent. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and room service, along with free WiFi. The hostel has family rooms. While you may not be spending too much time at the property with everything Cusco has to offer, this place will feel like a second home. The staff feel very much like you’re own family (especially Josue, the owner) helping you plan your stay and trip, organizing taxis, and even offer a great little complementary breakfast. The biggest stand out was having them available at 4:30 in the morning to make sure you got on your tour at the right time and with no issues. 10/10, I highly recommend that anyone who comes to Cusco stays here, and I myself will be back again someday due solely to this place and staff.

Hostels. What are they?

Way more than just a cheap place to sleep, hostels are a social way to travel and meet like-minded people. Common areas like shared kitchens or games rooms are great ways to swap tips, tricks and travel stories with backpackers from all over the world.

Hostels have come a long, long way since the first youth hostel opened in 1912. From budget 'crash-pads' to five-star 'poshtels', today, hostels are for everybody, so whether you'd prefer a bed in a shared dorm or your own private room, you'll find most hostels are cheaper than a local hotel and far more fun.
