Home Lisbon Hostel

Baixa / Chiado, Lisbon

Rossio is 400 metres from the property, while the São Jorge Castle is 800 metres away and the lively Bairro Alto area is 1.2 km away. The nearest airport is Lisbon Portela Airport, 7 km from Home Lisbon Hostel, and can be easily accessed by metro. The various "chill out" spots in the hostel. The bar, the dining space, the common room, the work rooms with the computers. It allows for mingling and also some quiet time if that's what you need. The guys at the bar and also our hosts for dinner (I wish I had asked for their names) took really good care of us and wanted us to be really well fed and the dinner was amazing. Muito Obrigado 😊😊😊.

Lost Inn Lisbon Hostel

Baixa / Chiado, Lisbon

The wooden-floor rooms of the hostel feature access to shared bathroom facilities. They include beds in mixed and gender-specific dorm rooms as well as private twin and double rooms. All rooms feature views over the city. The staff was amazing, helped with anything i needed, room and bathroom were very cleen, as is the rest of the hostel. I never had to wait for a shower or toilet. If you are into craft beer, they have their own, if not, free sangria(black and white) nights at 8pm. Breakfast was wonderful. From 2 types of cereal, milk, tea, coffee, juice, ham, cheese, 2 types of bread, scrambled eggs, jams, margarine, chocolate spread, tomatoes and cucumbers. You have your own locker. The best place and i have ever been to.

Hostels. What are they?

Way more than just a cheap place to sleep, hostels are a social way to travel and meet like-minded people. Common areas like shared kitchens or games rooms are great ways to swap tips, tricks and travel stories with backpackers from all over the world.

Hostels have come a long, long way since the first youth hostel opened in 1912. From budget 'crash-pads' to five-star 'poshtels', today, hostels are for everybody, so whether you'd prefer a bed in a shared dorm or your own private room, you'll find most hostels are cheaper than a local hotel and far more fun.
