NY Moore Hostel 3 stars

Brooklyn

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, NY Moore Hostel offers accommodation in Brooklyn, 4 km from Barclays Center. Manhattan is 16 minutes' ride via the subway.

Each dormitory-style room at this Brooklyn hostel offers modern furnishing. Every room includes a private or shared bathroom. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Female dorms make me feel much more comfortable when traveling solo, and the price difference between a 4 bed and a 8/12 was very reasonable. Both the private space and common areas are very comfortable with lounge, kitchen, coffee, games area and office space. Also the 24hour taxi and reception made getting my early morning JFK flight much easier.

Hostels. What are they?

Way more than just a cheap place to sleep, hostels are a social way to travel and meet like-minded people. Common areas like shared kitchens or games rooms are great ways to swap tips, tricks and travel stories with backpackers from all over the world.

Hostels have come a long, long way since the first youth hostel opened in 1912. From budget 'crash-pads' to five-star 'poshtels', today, hostels are for everybody, so whether you'd prefer a bed in a shared dorm or your own private room, you'll find most hostels are cheaper than a local hotel and far more fun.
