I had a pleasant stay at the hostel. This hostel is excellent in every aspect. The view of the Golden gate from the backyard of the hostel is mesmerizing.

Centrally located in San Francisco just 5 minutes’ walk from shopping and dining in Union Square, HI San Francisco Downtown Hostel boasts a theatre room. Each bright room is practically furnished and includes a continental breakfast. It was our third or fourth stay in this particular hostel. We had double room with en-suite and it wad just as perfect as usual. There’s absolutely no need to look for other places to stay in San Francisco. Location, facilities, breakfast - everything is on highest level.

Located less than 1.6 km away from Union Square shops and bars, HI San Francisco City Center Hostel features 3 lounge areas, a cafe and bar. All shared and private rooms offer free WiFi. A free continental breakfast is served daily. It was very clean and cosy. The owners put a lot of heart to this place with all the little details in interior design :) There is nice upper floor with tables and couches to rest/work. For breakfast you can eat bread with butter, philadelphia cheese, peanut butter and jam + there is always some fruit. If you want eggs or pancakes you need to pay 1$. You can also make yourself coffee/tea or drink orange juice. There are also big fridges, so you can keep your food inside. The location was also really great!
