Brighton Pier are 1 mile from Seadragon. The Royal Pavilion is within a 20-minute walk of the hostel and Brighton Railway Station can be reached after a 15-minute stroll. The hostel is a charming place that embodies the character of what Brighton is all about. The staff is very helpful and ensure that your stay is problem-free. The beds are quite comfortable and I ended up not wanting to wake up :) The breakfast is a good continental breakfast but you can cook whatever you like if you have the ingredients. The kitchen is fully stocked with crockery, just bring your own food and you're good to go. I haven't had much experience in hostels but this is definitely high on my list.

Elterwater Hostel 3 stars

Elterwater

In the Lake District village of Elterwater, the independent Elterwater Hostel offers dormitories and private rooms, with a communal lounge and dining area. Nestled in Langdale Valley, this hostel also boasts free WiFi, home-cooked food, cycle storage and is also just 2 minutes’ walk from the local pub. Clean, comfortable, affordable, great hosts. Also a great breakfast and a very useful drying room. The little village of Elterwater is very charming and it has a very cosy pub 1 minute from the hostel. I would definitely come back. The only minor discomfort to keep in mind is that free parking in the village is very limited and not super close to the hostel.
