“The private huts/ palupas are very modern & stylish. You can definitely feel the european influence, but all in all it fits perfectly with the Bonaire Scenery. We also really enjoyed the common area with the mineral pool among palm trees. The Resort is located in the south of the island, close to Kralendijk Airport. We used a rental to get around. Denis, the hotel manager on location is such a nice person who goes above & beyond to make you feel right at home and gave us great tips for our stay. Optional breakfast was offered for around $16 pp which he made himself - it was very delicious and absolutely worth it! “It is very well equipped, the kitchen is great and there is a nice supermarket near by so we cooked many meals at the hotel. There are few rooms, so it’s a nice cozy feeling. “Absolutely amazing! It really could not have been any better. Always a helping hand if we needed it, but never annoyingly over- caring. Super clean, big apartment surrounded by lots of palms for maximum privacy. Aircon and a fan made our life a lot better, and even though you will always need a car on Bonaire, we could easily walk to the next supermarket, which provided us with a big variation of cold drinks when needed. “The Bonaire Boutique Resort is a wonderful, beautiful little resort. There are only six private cottages, hidden by palm trees, so you have complete privacy on your own little terrace or in the very new and modern cottage. If you're looking to meet other guests, the common area by the pool and BBQ is perfect for this and it's also very nicely designed. The resort was about 5-10 min drive from our dive shop. You'll need a car regardless of where you stay to go to the dive sites, the Slagbaai national park in the north, the salines in the southwest or the mangroves (kayaking) in the east. If you dive, get a Hilux pickup truck for tanks and equipment. Irma and Richard are excellent hosts, always at the resort in the morning and evening, checking if everything is alright and helping out if you need anything. “The Bonaire Boutique Resort was amazing. It consists of 6 cottages and is therefore a quiet place to relax. We enjoyed the pool and the shared kitchen (you have an own kitchen, but there also is a shared one with barbecue grill) where we ate dinner with the people we met in the resort. There’s a lot of palms and green so that the cottages are very private. The interior is amazing, the bathroom is nice, the bed is very comfy (+air con in the bedroom!). Irma and Richard have been great hosts and even recommended a last minute car rental to us! The location may not be directly at the beach - but to be honest, you need a car anyway to go to the dive spots. We will come back! ” Read more

“The resort is quite new, even smells fresh wood in the room. Small (just 6 units), nice and clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Enough parking space, and the territory is gated, with beautiful cactus fence. There is a tap with a hose so you can rinse your diving gear with fresh water and hang it to dry out. As we were travelling with friends (occupied 3 out of resort's 6 units), it was nice to be able to use a gas barbecue and have a dinner together on a bit table in the common area.
