This place is very affordable and it worked for me because I was only going to be in the area for a couple of days. Fortaleza was my very first stop, and Eric was kind enough to help me get oriented with the whole CPF process. He also showed me some of his favorite spots for food, which ended up with us having lunch and getting to know each other. I also had the chance to meet Cabeza, who owns the hostel. Even though he was speaking in Portuguese and I was speaking in Spanish, we ended up getting into an amazing conversation around the politics of Brazil and Guatemala (I’m Guatemalan). I just really enjoyed their company. As for the hostel, it was very social! They provide a free caipirinha every night around 7pm and people usually hang out around the bar for that. They have a place for you to wash their clothes by hand along with a corridor to hang your clothes to dry. Their breakfast consisted of coffee, ham, cheese, bread, and fruit.

Não é fácil admintrar tudo só. Outro ponto que achei legal foi ter conseguido negociar 3 diarias (que fiquei em Jericoacoara) pra usar em um possível retorno, Fortaleza é top e moraria fácil.

O Sebastian, dono do hostel, é uma pessoa super do bem, prestativo e atencioso, assim como toda equipe. Nas duas vezes em que fiquei hospedada por lá, tinha um casal de voluntários (Andréa e Bruno), pessoas lindas, que se tornaram grandes amigos e também colaborarm, sem dúvida, para essas estadias serem ótimas. No entanto, acho que o próprio hostel tem essa energia de atrair viajantes "gente boa". Bem localizado, o hostel fica perto da praia de Iracema e de pontos turísticos interessantes para o viajante que quer conhecer mais de Fortaleza. O café da manhã é excelente e temos wi-fi gratuita por toda habitação.
