The location is perfect. Karluv Most is around the corner. The hotel is located inside a super old building that is kept in a great shape. The surrounding streets are beautifully quiet, the location is full of history, and a handful of good restaurants that serve local food are within about ten-minute walk. Overall, you get this European feel inside and outside without surprises.
GermanyThe staff was very kind and immediately gave off a great impression, and they even left me the room for some extra time to keep my luggage safe which I did appreciate a lot. The room was very spacious, I got the queen size bed I asked (that usually doesn't happen for some reason and you get two beds joined together instead) and the bathroom was well functional - everything spotless clean! The real treat was the bed, however - despite the usual "too low if single, too high if double" styled cushion, the mattress was super soft and I slept like a king. The position is very central, like one street away from the center and the city life.
ItalyThe receptionist knows at least English, German and Spanish and was very kind and ready help. Very smiley and friendly! Also the location is perfect and for the price you also get breakfast. Breakfast was good. You get what you pay, and that's perfect! :)
GermanyIt was a great place a little hidden, which I found great as there is not much noise, but 5 minutes away from the bridge and the main streets. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. They guy in the lobby attended me in spanish which I found great. The breakfast is included, is a buffet.

Located in the historical centre of Prague, 250 yards from the Charles Bridge and 500 yards from Old Town Square with the Orloj Astronomical Clock, The King George Hotel sits among an array of captivating pastel coloured buildings of Romanesque and Gothic origin. The hotel provides a restaurant as well as a bar. Free WiFi is accessible.
All rooms feature a safety deposit box, a minibar, satellite TV and a bathroom with a hairdryer. Ironing facilities are available on request.
The hotel is situated on Liliová street which connects 2 important historical places, Bethlehem Square, where the Bethlehem Chapel is situated, and Charles Street. In the 12th century Charles Street was part of the Royal Route.
The King George Hotel is just a short walk away from many places of interest including the Powder Gate, the Church of Our Lady before Týn. The Staroměstská Metro Station is 550 yards away.
