We were given a room with a small side room attached. Of course, this was an upgrade that we very much appreciated since we were traveling with a child. Also the breakfast was fantastic. There was so much variety and it was a wonderful start to the day. The location was excellent too. There is a popular bakery nearby.

There was a bar across the road with a lovely beer garden. It had the friendliest staff I have ever encountered in a hotel. They were so happy and willing to help with anything you needed or wanted to know about Munich. The location was an easy walk into the old town.

SwitzerlandThe owner was incredibly gracious and helpful. I arrived in mid morning, too early to expect a room to be available. Instead of telling me to leave my luggage and return in 5-6 hours, she stored my luggage and settled me in the charming breakfast room with a pot of ho tea and assured me my room would be ready in 20 minutes. What a pleasant and welcoming gesture for a newcomer to Munich. She escorted me to my lovely room overlooking a lush courtyard as I finished my last cup of tea. My luggage had already been taken to my room. Hotel Olympic was ina central location, and I would return there without hesitation.
