It is one of those rare towns on the Côte d'Azur that has retained its genteel character. Cannes is a real seaside resort with manicured sandy beaches, an old yacht harbor and belle époque architecture. It symbolizes the good life of the South of France, with a year-round calendar of ballet, theater, concerts, yacht regattas and business conventions. There are also trendy boutiques and, of course, the glamour of the film festival.Do not miss the warmth of the sun, the sound and smell of the sea, the palm-trees and café terraces.
