Great flat with wonderful facilities. Everything in the flat was well maintained and modern and I especially appreciated the Nespresso machine for good coffee. The crockery were very high quality too. Short walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants. Lidl supermarket was just downstairs! The host Mike was also very good and quick to respond to our needs and requests. When we reported that the ventilator fan in the toilet was not working, he sent someone to fix it the very next morning.

I traveled with two teenagers and a toddler, all pretty wiped out after the ferry and a 2-hour ride from Hora Sfakion; we were leaving Crete next morning and didn't hope for more than a place to spend the night and the transfer to the airport (previously arranged with the owner). Instead, we were met by Irina, Natalia's mother, who showed us exceptional hospitality, made us supper, gave my daughter a tour around the neighborhood, and made us wished we had more time to stay. The apartment was well-stocked with shampoos, laundry detergent, basic food, extra bedding, etc. — all kind of trivial comforts which are so hard to get and expensive while you travel. If I ever have a chance to stay in Heraklion again, I hope this apartment will be available.
