The dinning room was lovely, as was the food, but it lacked seasoning and finesse. The service was a bit off, as one in our party was served her entree as an appetizer. Prices were at the high end for the overall experience value. Lovely wine list/selection.
The spa experience was exquisite. Guests should be informed of tipping procedures, as most of the time you are in a robe without your wallet. The rooms were fantastic and comfortable, although the luxuriousness of the tubs; their depth and lack of curtain, made the marble floors slippery. The breakfast was perfect.

Receptionist in the morning tried to charge me 2 time for the services (massage and city tax) I paid day before, i told her timenif oayment, sum and method but she still was asking for reciept??? Very embarrassing and She NEVER appologised when she actually chexked that after keeping me min 5 minutes at checknout with taxi waiting It is NOT acceptable for a hotel of this category! Everyone can make a mistake but NOT communicate with a guest like this and afzer that NO appology!

The bathroom had a large high tub with a shower fixture in the middle and no shower curtain(intentionally ). It was fine for my husband but I have a knee issue and it was difficult for me to get in. There is only one restaurant and it served buffet dinner and breakfast. Personally I didn’t like the food at and ended up eating boiled eggs and a roll... but did enjoy the free wine that came with it. Breakfast was better. The staff who checked us in was a bit rushed in explaining the room and facilities... which are a bit complicated. We would have appreciated a tour of the Spa and how to use it. The exercise room, Spa and outdoor spa are all in different locations... as is the restaurant. My husband went to the outdoor hot tub to ease a sore back and came back saying it was astonishing large... several steaming baths with about 40 people enjoying the scene. They also served wine and small finger foods there after 6pm ... but you must be in a robe! A bit like the “Roman Baths” we’ve all heard of!
It is very convenient to the Rome airport. The grounds were beautiful and it was nice to be in the countryside after visiting Florence and Rome.

An orientation of the facilities on arrival would have allowed us to better take advantage of the property.
The property is beautiful, the facilities were great. We were there mid week in late November and it was not too crowded and actually got a pool to ourselves. It really is a magical place to relax and chill out. It was the start of our vacation and a great way to decompress from normal life and begin our holiday in a relaxed, refreshed note. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were attentive and kind.

They spray every room with scent that is so strong that it caused our eye to water and start sneezing. They finally moved us to a room that was made several days ago. The scent had dissipated to an acceptable level.
The spa experience was great.
