ThailandGreat location for access to Shinjuku station and surrounding area. Good choice of restaurants/dining, including a well-stocked, good value Seven-Eleven in the basement area. Also close to many good value fast food establishments. Very helpful and courteous staff, with good English language skills. Simple-to-use currency exchange ATM in foyer. Concierge very helpful in arranging trips and explaining local transport options. Good in-room facilities, and various items available to borrow, including iron/ironing board. 10 mins walk to Metropolitan Government Building with observation deck. 10 min walk to Keio Plaza hotel where JTB Sunrise office is located for booking tours, and which is also the start point for most of the JTB tours in Tokyo and surrounding region. We have stayed in both the Keio Plaza and Hyatt Regency, and prefer the Hyatt as this has a higher standard of service.

BelgiumThe hospitality was by far the best thing in this hotel. All staff were super attentive and helpful, even walking with me to 7 eleven to help me buy a Disney Sea ticket as the machine was completely in Japanese. In passing I also had mentioned being on my honeymoon and once we returned to the hotel that evening they had delivered a bottle of wine and a card to our room to say congratulations! The room was fabulous, our room view was great. We were there during the typhoon and the hotel operated as per usual even though many of the staff would have had their families affected by the storm. They also had free shuttles every 20 minutes to the main shopping area and station from around 7am till 9 at night, which made is extremely convenient to get around.
