We went there during a lockdown of all restaurants due to COVID-19, so they served the food in our room (3 course meal, straight from the restaurant downstairs). “I did enjoy a panoply of things. The lady who communicated with me was very present and responsive to my messages. Our flight was delayed by 4 hours by a storm, yet she was there at 23:30 to gave me the keys with a smile. Unobtrusive, yet very present with a delicious breakfast, this couple is one of the best hosts I met. Everything worked well: wifi connection, much needed hot water after the freezing wind blowing over Haarlem. The place is right in the old Dutch settlement, with all what you need to see within walking distance. “Very beautiful authentic room in the old city center of Haarlem. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Small nice details like coffee/tea in the room, painting with Dutch landscape on the wall, old style mosaic windows. beautiful window view to the small old street. Very clean room and linen. A lot of shops and restaurants near this place. The owner of the bnb also have a restaurant downstairs - convenient for the breakfasts or dinner.
