Our little family had a lovely stay at wikkelboat. The tiny houses are stunning and the location exceptionnal. Jaccuzi experience in the winter in the city centre won’t be forgotten, kids loved it. House is as expected well reflected on and you can enjoy every spaces. Should come back in summer time for a bbq on the terrace deck. It was very quiet and we all slept well.
NetherlandsUnique place in the center of Rotterdam, we spent amazing night there, enjoying the hot tub and the incredible city view. The apartment has so big panoramic windows that you can stay in bed and see the beauty of river, bridges and buildings around. I definitely would like to return back to this place. It was amazing experience!

We were given the wrong code for the self service check-in and were trying for half an hour in the pouring rain. Host was quick to advise correct code when we called but left a really sour taste to our stay. Beds were really comfortable.

The e-bikes were brilliant and made our tour of Rotterdam easy as speedy. The hot tub was very fun and welcome in December! My husband loved the coffee machine too! We loved it. We'd love to go back. This was our mini honeymoon.... perhaps for our anniversary, or maybe even in the summer to properly try out the little terrace and BBQ.

Bigger than most rooms in any hotel in Rotterdam and I know because I stay at a hell of a lot! Beds very comfy and the views impeccable. Hot tub out back was actually hot. You can see there has been nothing over looked. Will be staying there every-time if available. Host couldn’t do enough for me, even arrange a couple hours extra parking for me the next day so I could go and get Lunch from the famous market hall! That is literally 2 minutes 37 seconds away (sad I know but I like to know these things hahaha) . I promise you if you stay here you will not , I repeat you will not be disappointed in the slightest. Cannot wait to go back and I only left yesterday.

The Wikkelboat is a unique tiny houseboat made of cardboard, but then made water resistant with some great Dutch design:-) You definitely will love a stay....almost all commodities are aboard and you've your own private terrace and unique view over the waterside. The Wikkelboat consists of 2 roms with each a luxurious 2 persons bed. At daytime the beds are standing against the walls, but at night you can easily pull them to the flor, with the help of hydraulic pumps. It sleeps max. 4 people.
Jelle and Sander are the owners of the Wikkelboat and it's harbour, the Red Apple Marina.
Wikkelboat is located in a beautiful small harbour in the middle of the city of Rotterdam. The area, called Maritime District, is ful of skyscrapers, water and history and all public transport hubs are juist around the corner! A perfect stepping stone for exploring The Netherlands!
