Yoly's House is a nice and very clean hostel 600 m from the Plaze de Armas in Caraz. The staff is super-friendly, the view from the upper level terrace just great. -Tours can be organized easily. Private bathrooms are well equipped and clean, hot water is available all the time. Highly recommended !

IrelandThe owners were very nice to is, the room was clean and the bathroom too, they gave us a room with a balcony and it had a nice view and they even borrowed us the refrigerator to put some of our food
EcuadorWe had a great time with Yoly and her husband Willy. Both were so friendly and helpful. They can give great recommendations on what to do and see in the area as well as helping with booking tours. We could also leave our luggage there while doing the Santa Cruz trek. The rooms were clean and the beds super comfortable. Great place to base yourself for the surrounding hikes.

BelgiumHosts are super nice, the space is warm, good shower, bathroom, extremely clean, bed was super comfy. The hosts, Yoli and Willie give you tips and even help with arranging tours to the Cordilleras and lagoonas. Caraz is a much nicer, quieter town then Huaraz, I would definitely recommend Yoli’s home if you plan to stay in Caraz.

Possibility to have breakfast with fresh juice and very good bread and coffee :) Some people said it is a little bit outside of the city but it is very peaceful and only five minutes from noisy center. Yoly and Willy are very nice and knowledgeable about the numerous hikes and activities around Caraz. Family atmosphere :) Gracias Yoly and Willy !

Yoly's House gives to the guests the opportunity to live with a Peruvian family and experience life in the beautiful mountainous region. There are many transport options to from and around Caraz. The house is quite during the morning as our family of 3 is at work/school. We like guests to feel at home. The house also has areas that are shared like a loundry, a sitting room, and a beautiful garden. It offers Free WiFi and TV Cable Channels as well
My family and I live in the middle of the Black and White Mountain Ranges with a beautiful view of the Huascaran and Huandoy mountains. Though we love animals we don't have any pet. We speak English and Spanish. People in Caraz also speak Quechua. We love hosting people from all over the world. We also love music.
Caraz is the closest city for access to famous hiking opportunities such as the popular four-day Santa Cruz trek, Mount Alpamayo, the most beautiful in the world, Lagoon Paron, Llanganuco Lake, and Lake 69 day walk or if you prefer to camp over there, you can do it. There are also many climbing, riding and other trekking opportunities in the area. The small city has numerous cultural events celebrated throughout the year, so the tourists have many to see and enjoy from. Quechua is also spoken in the area so you can seek to also learn this traditional Peruvian language. You can also try its delicious typical food. Caraz and its sunny weather during all the year is the best place to stay in.
