The building is historical and classic atmosphere. Location is good to walk to town and hot springs pool. Room service is taste good. I bought Teddy Bear which wear glasses. The stuff who explained about the Teddy Bear is kind.
JapanEnormous king suite for quite affordable price. Old world charm with modern conveniences. They take COVID seriously and staff are kind. Two wonderful meals as well. Highly reommended.
United StatesThis is a beautiful hotel steeped in history. I loved all the pictures which was a bit like a mini historical exhibit. The lobby has two giant fireplaces which make it warm and cosy - a great place to hang out. The restaurant is extremely affordable and food good (I only had breakfast there). The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The location is great - close to the pool and the vapor caves ($5 discount in the caves for hotel guests). The main part of town is an easy walk over the pedestrian bridge. The hotel provides transport to and from the station and anywhere else you’d like to visit. Some might find the rooms in need of a little bit of updating but if they look like grandma’s guest room, that is all part of the charm and history! They are impeccably clean. I was given a small suite and it had a fridge and microwave which was helpful. I’ll definitely stay again!
United KingdomBreakfast provided an excellent menu and white tablecloth service, large portions, quality ingredients, in the wonderful setting of the main dining room. Dinner in the pub was fun and we enjoyed terrific reubens. With immediate accessibility to the Hot Springs, downtown Glenwood SPrings and the wonderful history of the hotel staying here is always our first choice and we're never disappointed.
