It offers a 24-hour front desk, free Wi-Fi access and a snack bar that is open 24 hours a day. The location was perfect and the hotel was easy to find. Exploring the area from this hotel was easy. Free parking underground was a bonus. A little tight but we managed very well!

Located 300 metres from Saint Jean Train Station and a 10-minute tram ride from the city centre, ibis Bordeaux Saint-Jean offers a bar and free WiFi in the hotel rooms. Line C of the tramway, situated 300 metres away, gives direct access to the city centre. Arkéa Arena is 3 km away. Great location for getting the train, we were only in Bordeaux for one night and leaving by train so it suited us perfectly. Staff very friendly and helpful with good English. Room was clean and comfy, not huge but we didn’t need a big room!

Toulouse Stadium is 4 km away. The guy on reception was extremely helpful with his advice on logistics in the city ,given the demonstrations by the Gilets Jaunes.

The air-conditioned hotel’s rooms feature a TV with satellite and cable channels. They all have an en suite bathroom with hairdryer and shower. It was a great option for the price paid. Very quiet and the bed was comfortable, so we had a great sleep after long walks. Whatever we need, staff provided. Like there were no cups/kettle/fridge in the room, but we were able to leave our food at kitchen fridge and were provided with glasses, plates, folks, etc Great value for money!
