Lantern Light Inn - Romantic Getaway 3 stars

West, Sedona

Located in West Sedona, Lantern Light features a number of amenities including a garden and outdoor swings. The inn has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi.

All rooms in the inn are fitted with a Keurig® coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave and a flat-screen TV. Select rooms at Lantern Light Inn have a patio. Guest rooms have a seating area. Where do I start? Anne Murphy was wonderful. This is an absolute jewel tucked away. Inner courtyard, outside definitely not your cookie-cutter chain (lanterns, lights, courtyard by office .... everything was gorgeous). Anne recently purchased the property and spent 5 months redoing everything - and it shows. The love, attention to detail, care, the decor in the rooms (my husband and I were with my father and stepmom), the furnishings, the fixtures, recessed lighting in the ceiling, patio doors opening to the inner courtyard - a gem, with flowers, hummingbirds, an area with sheer as well as heavier curtains on the frame, tables and chairs, tiny lights on the buildings and trees - cannot say enough wonderful things! If I were getting married, I'd book all the rooms for family and guests, have the wedding outside, and just enjoy the beauty, peace and serenity. Anne said they haven't finished with landscaping and some other things yet (not surprising, considering all the work they've already done). EVERYTHING was perfect, way above the standard hotel/motel. Breakfast was delivered to the room in a basket and hung on a hook outside each door. There was a love seat, table and chair outside our patio door as well as the room where my father and stepmom slept. It was a few days before my father's 91st birthday, and Anne had a card waiting for him; she said she would have had flowers, with more notice (we booked a couple of hours before arrival). She did, however, give him a very nice gift. Too bad I can only give this place a 10 - it deserves more. One of - if not THE - nicest places I have ever stayed. Hoping we can return again. And Anne was wonderful to my dad and stepmom, very attuned to their needs, visiting with them. Cannot imagine anything could have been better, unless we stayed after the remaining projects were completed. (Even without those projects completed this was just a wonderful, wonderful place.
