Unfortunately it rained all day when we went, but seeing the giant lily pads was amazing. Do not try to touch them, there are staff members watching. I would recommend getting there when they open, no parking. We ubered there which worked out well.

Its the most amazing botanical garden in the middle of a big city and when you are finished with this one - a couple of blocs down the street there is another one called PARQUE LAGE.
Rio is a city you see and feel nature everyone so these 2 parks are a must !!

Amaaaaazing! very well taken care, we visited in the same tour we did Floresta da Tijuca. Was one of our best days in Rio
