The Old Town Square is picturesque and even more so during the Christmas Markets when they are crowded with the wonderful smells of gingerbread, gluhwein; the church bells ringing and a chorus of Christmas Carols. Perfect.
Stayed only 2 nights :(( NOT ENOUGH for such a great town. Leppert hotel right in the old town square with magnificent view of the square. Awesome to be able seat outside at the hotel under umbrella and have a beer and watch people. planning to go back for longer time next time. recomment river tour at sunset from Charles Bridge walking distance from the hotel.
We have been to this beautiful city in the summer but this time it was for the Christmas Market and the Lighting of the Christmas Tree. An incredible experience - there are small markets in several locations and so we got to walk various parts of the city and it was overall an experience we will always treasure.
Step away from the main square and walk down busy and not busy side streets to find fun dining places for lower prices than the big streets. For a busy traveller, a Day-Pass is great to increase your ability to see so many beautiful sites.
We loved the Jazz festival live music playing in the old Town Square. While listening to music you could carefully look at all of the wonderful historical buildings around the square and watch people relaxing as the sun went down. Beautiful energy.
Much going on all the time. Be careful of the Street vendors selling the Ham & Hlusky. Price posted is by kg and slapped an extra piece of fat ( that NOBODY was going to eat ) on the plate to add extra weight.
amazing apartment , right next to the Old Town Square - just 2 mins on foot with many cafes and bars and restaurants around . The apartment has very beautiful newly refurbished interior and fully equipped kitchen with all appliances and also 2 bathrooms ( one ensuite in the master bedroom ) , there is air condition in every room , heated ladders in the bathroom, which makes the stay extra comfortable. There is a parking directly in the house, which is extremely rare in the Prague Old Town. For us its a great choice and will be surely back
Quiet, comfortable hotel near the Old Town Square on a narrow street nearby. The staff is friendly, helps and gives the necessary advice to tourists. The room was clean, reliable furniture. In the lobby and corridors there are interesting photos from the history of Prague, on the roof there is a cozy terrace with tables. On the first day of our stay, my wife and I thought that we were the only guests in the hotel, it was a little scary :-).
The hotel is right in the heart of Prague, my room has a great view of the church , upper floor would give you the best view. It’s quiet place despite being in old town square. The staff I encountered were courteous, very helpful and proactive to guest’s needs. I have to leave early morning and front desk was kind enough to pack some food for me, i highly appreciated it.
Located in the center of the old town, every tourist spot (including the old town square and the Charles bridge) is within easy reach, the room was extremely nice and tidy, there are lots of restaurants and some grocery stores nearby, and the owner was very helpful and kind. Our apartment played a role part in our memorable stay in Prague!
Big rooms, kitchen was fully equipped, bathroom was big and clean, as the rest of the apartment. Good location - close to old town square. Bakeries and food shops nearby. One thing to keep in mind is that the reception is in another location - but that was mentioned in the communication, so no problem with that.
