Wander the castle, but make time for a one hour concert at one of the small palaces. starting around 1pm each day a trio of symphony orchestra players will delight you with a selection of favourite classical music. Very easy to book your tickets online.
Once you cross the Bridge - you can get the Tram up the hill to the Castle.. OR Walk it not too far if your fit. There are different tickets for the Individual buildings - the castle inside is amazing.. DON"T Forget thee is a small street at the back of the Castle where they have the Armoury (upstairs) great little street.
Must , if you want to say that you visit Prague , the only thing I’ll say is if you pay to climb in the tower near cathedral, be sure you don’t have respiratory issues, because it’s really lot of steps to climb and there’s not enough space for rest . ( I say all that because I hear someone with asthma saying..... f... I pay entrance to die ) Otherwise the view worth more than enough from up there .
You can go in the Cathedral for a good enough look without paying. You need to pay an entrance fee near the gate to go past the roped area to see the full Cathedral. Don't miss the Lobkowicz Palace (for music, art, café).
Great place to walk through. Didn't bother with paying for visits. Recommend walk the gardens at top of the hill for amazing views. ATM (Sept 2019) the lower castle gardens are closed for renovation.
Be prepared to queue if you don't get there early. We queued to get in, queued to buy a ticket and queued again to enter the Cathedral. The Golden Lane was excellent loved the armour display and how the houses had bbeen restored.
We loved the location and the restaurant below. Right at the entrance of Prague Castle and Nerudova street, the morning views are wonderful. Rooms are cosy and clean, but a little smaller than the pictures. We would appreciate more vegetarian options for the breakfast, but I guess it is the Czech cuisine itself, as we didn't find many options in other hotels and restaurants as well. There is a parking option at the hotel and everything is in a walking distance. We will definitely choose to visit again.
This is a beautiful hotel in a very central location. The interior is amazing with original artwork and bronzes throughout the hotel. Every bedroom is spacious and ours gave onto a balcony from where we could view Prague castle in the distance. Our breakfast of 'eggs Royale' was superb. The staff are always welcoming and attentive. And yes we will be returning in the very near future.

Hotel swimming pool was for free. Bar was opened till 11 pm. Breakfast was placed nice spacious room with nice view and there was really many various type of delicious food.
Location of the property is exceptional. The old city centre of prague is 5 miutes by foot. To reach Prague castle the tram stop is also very close by. We did not get the hotel parking but nearby there is a big public parking. The room was not very big in size but was comfortable. The breakfast was amazingly sumptuous.
The apartment was absolutely amazing with the best views of Prague Castle and the Old Town. Apartmemt was very spacious with 2 bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Lovely little design hotel right around the corner from Prague Castle. Everything is clean and comfortable and within walking distance. The staff is lovely and helpful. They were also super welcoming to our dog.... they even brought her a bed and food/water bowls!
The breakfast was excellent and i could say maybe the best I had ever met in a 3 star hotel. Fair price for parking in a safe nearby open area. very clean and near by to carol's bridge and Prague castle. walking distance to the old city center.
One could hardly find more romantic hotel in the heart of Prague. This hotel is located just next to a medieval "Charles bridge". Everything in the Old town is walkable from here and the Prague Castle is a 10 minute walk.
To make the most of the local culture go by foot, Prague Airport Transfers offer free walking tours to transfer customers, however be mindful that Prague Castle is a good hike uphill but well worth the visit especially for the views over the city. Local beers are a must try and much less expensive than imported brands. If using the Metro system, be sure to validate your ticket.
Charles bridge, John Lennon wall(and pub) and the Prague castle are all must sees. Also taken the walk up the astronomical clock is well work 100kc for the views.
The Jewish quarter is well worth exploring - get the all in one ticket and spend a few hrs there. Very emotive at times. Prague castle also is a must, walk up to it through the gardens - beautiful
Very historic monuments, well kept, my favourite Jewish Town. In Prague castle you can relate to nei gothic, gothic, Renaissance type of building in one courtyard. History well kept.
Prague castle is fascinating and the architectue everywhere is worth seeing.
We did the hop on hop off tour. Found a better deal with a leaflet lying around the information centre... Took it to the main hop on and off tour guides by the Madame Tussaud's museum who matched the price and threw in a free Prague castle tour which was amazing! Highly recommended.
