This sports hotel is located next to the English Gardens in Munich, 15-20 minutes from the city centre via public transport. Room comparable to 4* hotel, very nice. Breakfast very good, although no warm options.
Nice place with kind staff. Easy to get by car For me very expensive services related to primary target - Arena: expensive beverages and to pay for parking beside not cheap entrance ticket is bit strange. But Bayern is probably worth of it
Buy arena card first and if a female go to the toilet at the first set then wait till your in the Stadium. The toilets by where you buy the arenacard are awful und there are only 2cubicles. Food is not very good.
It is a ground on the outskirts of town. On the U bahn it takes about 20 minutes to get there from Marienplatz. There are no pubs or shops nearby. You can buy food and drink inside the ground or from stalls outside. You get a good view as the fans are close to the pitch. I had never been before, yet I found it easy to find my seat. Excellent toilet facilities, at least for the men, so queues are short. Outstanding Bayern Munich museum, certainly worth it for a football fan who wants to know about the history of the game and it's past players. They are very security conscious, so you get patted down before you go in and bags are checked. If your bag is too big, you can leave it in a booth a couple of hundred yards from the ground. It costs two Euros and is very easy to do. I always felt safe when I was there. The U Bahn station is a short walk away. In and around the station there are a number of people selling tickets. They all looked like fans with spare tickets, instead of touts taking the mick, but you buy at your own risk. They are very open about it. They simply hold their tickets up for people to see. I bought my ticket online from the club, which was straightforward enough. Highly recommended for football fans.
FC Bayern Munich is an excellent soccer team. Visits inside can only be done via guided tours, so when you purchase tickets, you will be given a time as to when you can enter. I liked this feature as then you don't have to wait to buy tickets but rather can walk around or eat in the cafeteria until your tour time starts. It's about an hour.
Adorable place for the football fans and even those, who are not so interested in football! Get a package (17€ for the students, 19 for the adults) that includes visit of a super modern FC Bayern Munchen museum (it takes 2 hours for a proper observation) and 1 hour for a guided tour around the stadium, players changing roooms, press conference hall and other interesting places wothin the stadium. Come earlier to avoid long queue. To come to Allianz Arena you need to take U6 line of U-bahn and disembark at Fröttmaning station. When you go up it will take you around 10 minutes to reach the ticket office. Highly recommended to visit!
It looks nice from far away at night, for example from the Autobahn. The closer you get it decreases its charm. Inside its very cold most of the year, technically fully functioning at football games, many clean toilets also for women. You need Arena plastic card to buy drinks and food, cash doesn't buy you anything.
