Hotel in Camden, London
Visited it only once when I was a teenager with parents during the weekend away from boarding school in the early 1960s! Coming from Edinburgh I find it tiresome seeing same types of animals here and there!
A fantastic Zoo and is a close second to my favourite UK zoo (Chester). We went during half term which was very busy but more than enough room to make it a comfortable day out. Sadly the queue for the butterfly house was too long for our liking but more because the weather was very hot. Plenty of Halloween activities for the kids and the best insect house i've ever seen. You also have the perk of being right next to Regents Park for a lovely stroll.
Very expensive and not particularly good. Belfast and Dublin Zoos less expensive and so much better. Don't go if they're having a safari evening as you get chucked out an hour early with no discount.
Highly recommend going to ZSL London Zoo. Many species on display. Lovely butterfly house, and you can walk inside lemur exhibit and black-capped squirrel monkeys exhibit. Animals in action display in the Amphitheatre is very good, go see that if you have the opportunity!
Take them around the more interesting sights especially the parks and London Zoo is brilliant
The London zoo was amazing my two year old had a great time. Everything was clean and well maintained and the animals looked well taken care of.
