Hotel Villa Orion is situated in the seaside suburb of Voula in Attica, less than 100 metres away from the nearest sandy beach. Nice location for the reason I was in Athens. A little far away from the other part of Athens

First take a walk around and checkout the restaurants before settling in on one. People are very friendly....but don't go during their SIESTA times..... moist places are shut. This place is very expensive, so if you are looking for cheap items....FORGET IT!
It was lovely to see the locals on the beach with families and the elder for their morning meet at 7a.m. I would recommend Glyfada for a few days. We travelled to to Naflion which is beautiful and Parga and Sivota which is a great place for a week if you have a car.
Just take the tram to these beaches and save money over the hop on hop off bus, which only runs once a day and you have to choose one beach where to jump and take the bus back 2hrs later. If you miss your hopon bus, you are on your own. Public trans runs very frequently and its less than 2 euros if you did not buy your 3 days pass.
Wish the beaches will be treated better- lots of local ode the sand like an ashtray and the other locals do not clean in carefully because it’s organic and do not harm nature. But I do not appreciate when my 9 mo kid and 2 yo kid always finded cigarettes on a sand. It’s awful. Even on the paid beach
Very pleasant- take the tram from Syntagma square direction Voulas, the stop is Glyfada. Then you can go two stops further and have a lunch in one of the restaurant in Glyfada quarter (the stop is Voulas)- calm and beautifull- great italian restaurant Pasteria.
If you want a nice clean water beach try balux cafe - you pay a fee for the access but it's very chill and has pool and beach swimming. Or there is a beach near to the Laimos stop on the bus which is also a cost but phenomenal in terms of facilities and cleanliness! ✨⛱
Excellent location if you look for a beach hotel. Glyfada beach is just 5 min walk. Restaurants and shops nearby. Good connection with the Airport (Bus X96) and the city (Tram), with stops just a few minutes walk. Nice swimming pool.
Spacious apartment in a quiet area not far from Glyfada beach. Vicky lives in the same building, takes care of everything and answers messages very quickly. Had a very good stay.
