You can walk around the old town and by the ocean, it’s beautiful, but I recommend taking a longer walk across the water to the other side, you will find cliffs and a wonderful little walking trail, covered by greenery and amazing views.
If you are visiting Dubrovnik from Cavtat I recommend the boat from Adriana cruises. It takes 45 minutes and takes you direct to old town for 100 kuna return. The bus line 10 takes as long and goes to bus station far from old town.
A lovely promenade lined with bars and eateries. Buy an icecream or sit at a bar and watch the expensive motor yatchs pull in from all over the world. A smaller more perfectly formed, in my opinion, Saint Tropez.
Great place to see expensive yachts you’ll never be able to afford, have a choice of lots of restaurants, get an ice-cream, people watch, see live music and enjoy the lovely views. There’s a lovely 2 km coastal walk startin from here too.
Ivo and his Father were incredible hosts. They were so welcoming, willing to do anything for us to make our stay more comfortable and more special, and made us the most incredible fish soup and platter on one of our nights! The apartment was everything we needed for us and our 22 month old Daughter. And the location of the apartment was brilliant- a 2 minute walk to Cavtat promenade, lots of fantastic restaurants and the boat to Dubrovnik. Highly recommend.
