Fully renovated in the summer of 2013, Stari Grad is one of only 2 hotels within the Old Town walls of Dubrovnik. This historic residence offers 8 spacious guest bedrooms and free Wi-Fi in all areas. I really love the staff. They are genuine and seem to love what they do.
Featuring a restaurant and a wine bar, The Pucić Palace is housed in an 18-th century baroque palace just steps away from the Stradun Promenade in Dubrovnik Old Town. Right in the middle of old town - walking distance to almost 'everything'.
Featuring a large spa area with a year-round indoor pool and seasonal outdoor pools offering panoramic sea views, this 5-star hotel is a 15-minute walk away from Dubrovnik's Old Town. Location great, staff always at service, buffet good, spa excellent. Great value.
Located just 5 minutes’ walk from Dubrovnik’s Old Town, this beachfront 5-star hotel is a local landmark. It offers a luxurious 850 m² spa and 3 restaurants. Just 3 min walk from the old city center and all the attractions of Dubrovnik.
Located just a few minutes’ walk from Dubrovnik Old Town, Villa Glavić offers free use of wellness facilities and swimming pools at Grand Villa Argentina located just 10 meters away. The pool by the sea is just amazing
Only a 15-minute walk away from Dubrovnik’s Old Town, this luxurious 5-star hotel offers a beach, 2 restaurants and a classy spa centre. Every staff member was courteous and willingly offered assistance without being asked
Located on the doorstep of Dubrovnik's Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik boasts an indoor pool and a wellness centre with saunas, a hammam, fitness and massage... I truly appreciated my stay in this hotel.
Featuring direct access to the beach and an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, Grand Villa Argentina offers an a la carte restaurant boasting a terrace with panoramic sea views. We had an amazing stay, 10 minute walk from old town with a beautiful little beach in between.
Ideal place to take a photo. You can take pictures with guards dressed in roman style battle armour. The changing of the guards ceremony is also rather novel and exciting. A real treat for the tourist in you.
Do a guided historical walk which is about 1.5 hours inside the city walls. It will open up your understanding to the ancient city and also allow you to appreciate it more. I’m not a history person but this was awesome
The old city was amazing. We booked a tour with Ermina from walking tours and booked to go on war history of Croatia. Fascinating to hear first hand knowledge and she knew her history. Highly recommend doing her tour. Meet at fountain in walled area at 1.30pm, wear comfortable shoes.
The cruise lines are killing the old city. Too many people. My tip is get there early and leave by 10.30 &/or get there at 16.00 when the cruise passengers have left. I thought the food and trinkets were very overpriced
The apartment was in a brilliant location, 2 minutes walk from Ploce Gate and from the cable car. It was easy to get into the old town and to Banje beach. It was a very comfortable, modern apartment, clean, tidy and very well equipped, with everything you could need including a combi washing machine/tumble dryer. It also had a nice view of Lokrum island. Our host Ankica was extremely helpful, she offered to pick up from the airport and told us about some lovely restaurants, trips and sights in and around Dubrovnik.
Perfect location (right in the old town, almost half way between Pile Gate & Ploce Gate) & easy to find. Well-equipped kitchen. The staff is very helpful & responsive (thank you). Our room is on the top floor which is perfect for us & feel secure. Good air conditioning. Helpful arrangement for taxi to airport. We also like walking passed the art craft shop downstairs before reaching our apartment … people are nice and friendly.
Very nice apartment in a great location (close to the Ploče Gate), recently renovated, with great airco (fundamental!), internet, room, bathroom, etc. It doesn't have a view (actually it's super close to the wall of another building), but that's very common in Dubrovnik. Host was super friendly, met us in the city and walked us to the apartment. Bonus: right downstairs is the best sushi restaurant of the city, which catch their own fish.
Amazing location! Truly only 5 minute walk to Ploce gate. Yes, there are stairs (including from the closest street) but they are not too bad. We were 6 people from age 10 to 87 and there was plenty of room. We especially enjoyed the balcony and the peaceful garden with exceptional view. Vedran was an excellent host. He arranged a taxi from the airport and met us when the taxi arrived. Excellent AC and perfect wifi.
This apartment is located in the best part of Dubrovnik, a short walk to the Ploce gate. The host was on hand via telephone should we require him. We stayed in the attic apartment and we found it to be very light and modern. The deck area is a fantastic spot to relax after a long day of exploring Dubrovnik. I would definitely stay here again when I next visit Dubrovnik.
The owner was very friendly and gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. The location was outside of the old town, but within walking distance to the Ploce Gate. There were two bathrooms which was unexpected. The balcony was nice overlooking Lorkrum Island.
Our host was great. He kindly carried our bags for us and gave us lots of ideas for our visit, including a discount card for restaurants. There is a great view from the terrace and the Ploce gate was less than 5 mins walk. Would stay here again.
Great location, only a few minutes away from Ploce Gate to old town. Parking onsite a requisite for us.
