On the map, this bus stop was just half a mile away from the B&B we were staying at however it was not possible for us to get a taxi from this location and there was no pavement along the side of the road so we had to take a chance walking along a very busy road to get to our accommodation. About an hour after we had walked along the road, a fatal accident occurred right where we had been. My advise is to get off at one of the first two stops where entrance 1 and 2 of the national park are as you can get a taxi easily from those locations.
Mukinje Bus Station is just a small house along the road side. Please make sure to tell driver in advance that you want to alight there. It may be a bit of problem if it rains and you cannot walk to the property unless you are able to contact the host to pick you up. It is very hard to get taxi.
The third station located on the upper stream of the lake waterfall. It takes about 20 mins walking to the No.2 entrance in the park where an off-road small car is facilitated to transfer guests to the top steam of the lake. All the way hiking down stream following track H provides a tremendous natural scenery.
Rooms Family Glumac Absolutely warm and friendly hosts. Service was top class; family managed hotel and all family members are helpful with any request you have. We got free bicycles to explore the nearby lakes. Our late check-in was gladly accepted and even got tips for a good restaurant on the way as their restaurant would have been closed by the time we arrived. Felt like staying in a very warm home stay in India with a good family
