Situated in Pengosekan, Casa Ganesha Hotel offers a mix of modern design and traditional Balinese architecture. It features an outdoor pool, a restaurant and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Location was great and the hotel overall had a nice atmosphere.
Lovely setting ,excellent location, artisans on site are happy to explain their craft. The museum has a building with older artworks, and another with modern Balinese art. Excellent value for money and a feast for the senses. The ARMA restaurant has excellent food too . I would consider staying at the resort attached to the museum . Very thoughtful to the needs of tourists, the museum had placed umbrellas to use while walking between the buildings !
More than just an outstanding collection of incredible Balinese art, Arma is truly an oasis, a 'living museum' as they say, where you can meander through the gardens enjoying the elaborate carvings and maybe see some artists at work or sit in the shade by the only rice fields in downtown Ubud and enjoy some tasty snacks allowing yourself to be inspired by the beauty of it all. The word 'museum' does not do it justice. Just go, you will love it.
