We liked the location near the National Monument and Gambir Station and stayed here twice (beginning of July, end of August).
The junior suite was very clean, nice, quite large and the included access to the Club Lounge with snacks, drinks and finger food for dinner was excellent.
The pool area was good and clean, the breakfast buffet was really excellent and had a huge selection of food and drinks of good quality. The staff were very professional, helpful and attentive.
Very good value hotel in a central location within walking distance from many museums and Merdeka Square. Very friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Very good breakfast buffet available every day in the hotels 24 hour restaurant. Not all rooms have windows to the outside so just ask. There is a taxi service to Gambir station and the airport. I really enjoyed my stay there and hope to return one day.
I hadn't intended to stay in Jakarta, but got a last minute booking due to an unintentional change of plan. It was close to Gambir Station, where I would have been stranded if it wasn't for this hostel. Staff were friendly and it was a good price. Good balcony and nice weather.
