Situated in Jaipur, 1.2 km from Hawa Mahal - Palace of Winds, Jasoda Heritage Hotel by Keshav Global features views of the mountain. This is absolutely amazing hotel in the heart of the Pink City.
I highly recommend buying a tour with a guide and enter the City palace. It is absolutely worth it (3500 rupees for adults and 2000 for students). The guides will take enormous pictures of you, so if you are alone, it's a great solution to have photos from the Palace.
The price to enter was too expensive (3500 rupees for foreigner and 3000 rupees for Indian nationals) even Taj Mahal was cheaper than that. we cancelled our tour around the palace because it was not worth the price.
See the options of tickets and choose wisely. Will not recommend the visit to area where the royal family is living as the tickets for that is pretty expensive. In case you need a guide, best way is to hire the hearing equipment from the ticket counter and explore the palace on your own pace.
I liked it, was very pretty and audio guide was informative, however I felt it was a bit overpriced. After seeing Udaipur's City Palace - which is a treat - I think we were slightly underwhelmed, but it was really beautiful. You also have to pay extra to get to the top part and see other bits of the palace which was a bit annoying and we didn't do it.
Relatively to palaces around the world the tour includes very little and is not at all in value with the cost. The guide we had spoke a good English and was knowledgeable but always at the end the pressure to do shopping at a specific shop (probably where they get commission). Too long too litt
Nice, and if you come here, also do janter manter and hawa Mahal at the same time ( go in the hawa Mahal...entrance is round the back and get your face on Indian postage stamps here...you can use them on your postcards.)
The hotel is in an excellent location between Pink City Palace and Jal Mahal in the other direction. The local area is quieter than the busy inner city location. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the new hotel is exceptionally clean. Restaurant food is very good quality. Shower is powerful the bathroom is spotless. The outside terrace on 3rd floor is great for a quiet reading area and coffee. The outside terrace area could do with a little more attention. It would be great to have a more loungy feel with some good ambient lighting.
This is absolutely amazing hotel in the heart of the Pink City. The location is great: 7-10 min walk from the City Palace, Jantar Mantar. Food is delicious. I recommend Thali, it is definitely better and cheaper than in the next hotel (Hawk View Restaurant & Bar). The view from the restaurant, especially, at the golden hour (early morning and before the sunset). The hotel is new and the staff is very friendly.
It's a great location for the things you want to see in the Pink City: Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Albert Hall. The hotel should have had better sound proofing, especially from inside the hotel. Bathrooms are small, the door should turn the other way :) Front desk is very helpful.
Zostel Jaipur is a great place to hangout and to discover Jaipur, which you can by just stepping out of the door and talking a walk. It's very close to the City Palace, Govind Devji Temple and Hawa Mahal. Staff is very friendly and helpful and it's perfect to meet fellow travellers.
centrally located, in less busy district. you can walk to the market and main tourist attraction such as hawa mahal or city palace in less than 10 min, nice cafe and good restaurants, shops, street food around the hotel room is clean and nicely decorated
Location of Trident Jaipur is great, being close to Jaigarh Fort, City Palace and the Johri Bazaar, while not being too far away from Amer Fort as well. Also it is bang opposite to the Jal Mahal hence you get a good view in case you opt for the Lake View Room.
Food in restaurant (diner and breakfest) and kindness / attention of staff. The location is quite convenient too as you can walk to city palace and discover the bazaar just by dropping our from the hotel
I stayed in the business-class room, and it has a bathtub within, which I like a lot. The room is also well-clean. The hotel is near City Palace, which is also a bonus.
It's not on the main road, a bit on the narrow lanes of Jaipur but a good place to commute around. Within close proximity of City Palace and MI road.
Amber Fort, the Lake Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal- all these places are impressive to look at and spend time in. The City Palace is a little average, but worth a look.
