The boat hotel is a comfortable flat 15 minute walk from the Amsterdam central station, and a similar walk into the main tourism and shopping area of Dam Square. Road works near the station caused some delays, but these were well distant from the hotel. The boat is moored in a quiet canal area near the Science museum. The facilities on board are clean and basic (no TV) but free wifi worked well, and the continental breakfast was very good in its variety and freshness. The staff were excellent. Very good value for money.
The location was near Amsterdam Central station and there was a free ferry service available day and night. I can't commend on breakfast as I didn't take it during my stay. I used the bar service once that was alright. Great ambiance. The room was clean the lounge area looked welcoming. Staff was friendly too.
The location is great, 15 minutes away from Amsterdam Central Station. The room was beautifully decorated and we were greeted with chocolate and nuts. The breakfast is nice, especially for the Netherlands, but it lacked Nutella, Peanut Butter and grapefruit juice to be perfect.
