A must see for any tourist visiting the main square, an additional attention should be paid to the , heraldry, the coat of arms placed above the booths inside the Clothing Hall, which highlight from how far the wares were sold in it( compare the coat s of arms- names of town, on the old maps to see from how far the merchandise travelled(it it might be also an additional hint were to go next after Kraków, watch out for pickpockets
in the middle of main market square - you could spend a whole day just walking, eating, drinking, watching and looking over the square from the balcony and shopping. don't for forget to go to the museum though.
Beautiful stalls inside and we'll worth a visit to the rooftop bar for cheap drinks. Cost about £5 for a pint and a large fancy coffee. This is probably the most you will pay for two drinks in krakow.
If you want a bargain, shop here. Loads of stalls, selling amber and other jewellery, knitted items, wooden toys and other carved items as well as momentos of your holiday, such as key rings and magnets.
So much going on in market Square, and worth exploring all the side streets, loads of markets hidden down them, wear comfy shoes and pat attention to street names as quite easy to lose your way, but quite the adventure when lost and trying to find your way back..
Very interesting building. No cloth sellers 😁 A place primarily consisting of stalls selling tourist gifts. Outside shop sells very good blown glass Christmas baubles and tourist gifts. Buy tickets for a time specific entry to the Underground Museum. This is a must see museum. Look it up on the web.
I was in a single room, it was big enough for me, it had a fantastic shower. Very quiet, Breakfast was brilliant, very varied and all the best and freshest of food. Location was excellent, 5 min walk to Cloth Hall. Tram stop outside hotel, gets you anywhere in the city. The staff were all fantastic, I loved it there, can't wait to get back.
the location is excellent, 10min walk from cloth hall, 20mins to Wawel and river, 25mins to Kazimierz jewish quarter, though the area is quite in the thick of it with lots of surrounding facilities its on a quiet street, the building is cool which was good on the hot days we were there
Location was very central to everything on the square and Cloth Hall. Apartment was well fitted out and tastefully decorated. Very spacious for the 4 off us. Enjoyed every minute of our time.
The room was very clean - especially during covid! Hotel location was perfect - out of the busy centre but only a 5 minute walk to Cloth Hall / plaza area.
- price-value ratio - closeness to Cloth Hall, restaurants and markets - comfortable bed - lockers with own keys
Criss cross the streets off the square for lovely little cafes and shops. Cloth hall is nice for a walk through but very expensive tourist trap.
Shoes, clothes and jewellery very reasonable. The Cloth Hall is good and although it looks a bit touristy you can actually get some good bargins
