So outdated. I remember coming as a child and it was the best thing ever. I went 3 days ago and the animals look like they’re being starved. The park isn’t looking it’s best and neither are the animals. They look emaciated and sad. Toilets are crap too
I was not there as zoos are the animal's jails. It does not matter If they look good or bad IT IS NOT THE NATURAL HABITAT and they are there as an exchange for money. Better to take a book or a documentary to learn about them
Fantastic must see. Catch the dolphin show as it is brilliant and catch cable car around (free). Might think its costly but if you take into account the dolphin show, cable car and the food drink prices, you wont.
Wonderful zoo, one of the best I have seen in Europe! You should go to see the dolphins show (first one is in the morning at 11:00 a.m. and the second in the afternoon). You have to take the open telecabine, to relax and admire from the air the entire zoo park!
The animals looked healthy and happy, even though it was a zoo. They have gone to a great extent to make comfortable and adequate facilities for the animals. There are shows included in the cost of the admission and the dolphin performance was excellent. The animals seemed to love their handlers. The gondola ride, also included, over the park was interesting and lasted 10-15 minutes.
Unmissable. An oasis for the animals and visitors. A memorable visit, its not often when the great apes and primates can be upstaged by the antics of the playful rhinos and giraffes. The zoo is dedicated to its role in conservation and many species are part of an international conservation programme. It also, dedicates itself to education and research. It was equally interesting and informative, watching how the keepers cared for the animals and seeing how the local visitors enjoy the visit to their zoo. All in all a great day out.
